I bought my first computer in 1982 and used it mostly as an expensive typewriter since that time. I am a professional face-to-face estate planner and therefore had little interest in using my computer to generate income, until I saw just how much some people were making online with not much computer experience in their background.
I decided to learn how to build a website and attempt to sell some of my products and books online.
I knew nothing about how to get visitors to my site, so the first thing I did was spend a ton of money on advertising. I discovered very quickly, that’s a great way to go broke in a hurry.
So for awhile I went back to making money offline to get back the money I had lost. I just left my website alone for several years, and concentrted all my energy on offline sales.
Then I heard about blogging, and decided it would be a great way for me to learn free advertisinig techniques and share my results with my online friends.
For my first post, I going to show you where I went, what I learned, whose advice I took and what actions I took to start the process.
1. First I searched the Internet for artilces and reviews about blogging, and determined that most of the pros recommend wordpress, so I set up my blog and made my banner.
